".... And we will mature, and some element will become visible in our work that comes from our innermost experience in life, something that no techniques, nor any amount of historical training or courses in 'design' could ever foster, something that is our own, and unique. For if a thing is conceived in the depths of our being, we will find a way to express it: it may be crude and unskillful, but it will be honest and intelligible."

    glazing.....

Six more ware boards of pots to glaze today, load the kiln over next two days, in between FFA banquet with Slate and other stuff, and fire by Saturday, God willing. It looks like I have enough pots for another firing after this one, so my shelves will soon be overflowing! Hope to have the cups for Turning Stoneware into Schools in this first load, and will post them when they come out. Kind of a teaser :-) since they can't be purchased until August 14.
