".... And we will mature, and some element will become visible in our work that comes from our innermost experience in life, something that no techniques, nor any amount of historical training or courses in 'design' could ever foster, something that is our own, and unique. For if a thing is conceived in the depths of our being, we will find a way to express it: it may be crude and unskillful, but it will be honest and intelligible."

    catching up.....

With all the rain over the last two weeks, I had to spend this week playing catch up -- mowing the lawn, scraping the driveway and working in the garden.

I spent part of today harvesting garlic, trimming the stems and roots, and putting them away to dry for the next two weeks. Waiting eight months for them to mature was easy; waiting two weeks for them to dry out is gonna be tough!

I posted a new video too, about a 17 year old Minnesota kid who bought a grocery store. Check it out.
