".... And we will mature, and some element will become visible in our work that comes from our innermost experience in life, something that no techniques, nor any amount of historical training or courses in 'design' could ever foster, something that is our own, and unique. For if a thing is conceived in the depths of our being, we will find a way to express it: it may be crude and unskillful, but it will be honest and intelligible."

    friday catch up.....

Tomorrow morning starting at 9am, twenty four of us will have teacups/bowls/mugs/etc. for sale in support of Greg Mortenson's Central Asia Institute. I have 20 teabowls for sale for $16/ea. Better get here (Seagrove, that is) early before they're all gone!

My chickens have pretty much stayed on the ground until now. One girl found her way atop the Carolina Jessamine earlier today.

The Cicadas are making a LOT of racket at night, and now I know why. If I were shedding my exoskeleton, I'd be screeching too.

From that angle, those cicadas look downright ugly! But, I sure can be lulled to sleep listening to them.
Did you sell all the cups? If not, I'd sure like to buy one myself.
Hope you and Tina are having a wonderful time together.
